Sharma Tech Labs ("we," "our," or "us") operates the PayBee mobile application ("PayBee" or the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully. By using PayBee, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly and information that is automatically collected when you use the App. The types of information we may collect include:

  • Account and authentication information
  • Device information and identifiers
  • Notification and transaction-related data
  • Usage and analytics data
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens for push notifications

Authentication Information

When you sign in or create an account within PayBee, we may collect authentication-related information such as your email address, display name, or other identifiers provided through Google Sign-In or other authentication methods. This information is used solely to identify your account, sync your data across devices, and provide personalized app functionality.

We do not store your Google account password. Authentication is handled securely through Google's authentication services.

Device Information

We automatically collect certain information about your device when you use PayBee, including:

  • Device model, manufacturer, and operating system version
  • Unique device identifiers
  • App version and installation information
  • Language and regional settings
  • Network connection type and status

This information helps us optimize app performance, diagnose technical issues, and improve compatibility across Android devices.

Notification Access Usage

PayBee requires Notification Access permission to function as a UPI payment alert system. With your explicit consent, the App reads notifications from supported UPI and payment applications to detect incoming payment confirmations.

Notification data is processed locally on your device to trigger voice alerts and may be synced to our secure cloud servers for analytics, staff notifications, and cross-device functionality. We do not sell notification content to third parties.

You can revoke Notification Access at any time through your device settings. Revoking this permission will disable core payment alert functionality.

FCM Token Usage

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications, including staff device alerts, subscription updates, and important service announcements. When you use PayBee, an FCM token is generated and stored on our servers associated with your account or device.

FCM tokens are used exclusively for delivering app-related notifications and are not shared with unauthorized third parties. Tokens may be refreshed periodically by Google's FCM service.

Analytics Data

We collect anonymized and aggregated analytics data to understand how users interact with PayBee and to improve our services. This may include:

  • Feature usage patterns and session duration
  • Payment alert frequency (without storing sensitive payment details)
  • Crash reports and error logs
  • App performance metrics

We may use third-party analytics services such as Google Firebase Analytics. These services collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS
  • Secure cloud infrastructure with access controls
  • Regular security reviews and updates
  • Limited employee access to user data on a need-to-know basis

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

Third Party Services

PayBee integrates with third-party services that have their own privacy policies. These may include:

  • Google Play Services — App distribution, in-app purchases, and authentication
  • Google Firebase — Cloud messaging, analytics, and backend infrastructure
  • Google Sign-In — Account authentication

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external services.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Children's Privacy

PayBee is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your PayBee account at any time directly from the app. Go to Profile → Settings → tap Delete Account → confirm deletion. Your account and associated data will be removed from our servers.

  • Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Data Portability — Request your data in a portable format where applicable

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of PayBee after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
